Dry the River have rerecorded their debut album, Shallow Bed ( a well crafted gem of rock songs with a folk/acoustic mentality), acoustically. Don’t expect it to be a folksy, acoustic guitar Mumford and Sons-esque rendition of each song. The album can stand on its own as a new body of work. Each song is reinterpreted and done with a wide array of instruments, instead of each song being rocked out, DTR have stepped back and play them in a sort of lullaby/intimate way. Standout tracks include: Biblebelt, No Rest and History Book.
