Hitting the ground running with their first video in 2 years - OK GO is back with a video for their single, "The Writing's on the Wall" that bends your mind and serves a feast for your eyes. Abound with optical illusions, within the 4 minutes of the video they seem top each maneuver with a better one - as if they challenged themselves to their own Optical Olympics. The techniques are performed by an live-in camera via anamorphic projection which in very, very basic terms is the process that distorts the image to produce the 3-D illusions you just witnessed. On top of all of that the song is fresh, upbeat bringing good times to your ears (maybe even your feet? arms? body? #dance) - this is an all-around winner. Enjoy.
